i'm just helping out jody and shanxi with regards to the planning of our class outing
oh and we must really thank them for doing such a great job!! :D

erm, as jody says, it's too late to book the chalet now :(
So, we have another alternative...

Shanxi has kindly volunteered to have a bbq party at her house!!
(and Karen's mum would be providing the bbq food, is it?)
Perhaps before the bbq, we can have fun at east coast park (shanxi lives in the east FYI)
bowling, cycling, beach volleyball... wadever (:
uh huh and yeah we can have a pizza lunch!!

I'm sorry this isn't about class chalet >.<

There is an NIE student requesting to do an experiment in our school. He needs a 2-hour session with 15 students in a computer Lab. He is hoping to get volunteers for the experiments to be conducted on Friday 16th November at 2pm.

Do u think you can help? Just come for 2 hours and I think it will be quite interesting and something different. Let me know? You can forward this to your friends as well then maybe you can come as a group and have fun together :D

This is briefly what the experiment is about:

The focus of this classroom experiment is to observe the effectiveness of a reflective prompts production mechanism embedded in our TA environment. We hypothesize that the reflective prompts will enhance the interactivity of the agent environment and motivate the students into effective role-playing as a teacher.

During this 2-hr session, we need 15 secondary school students in a computer classroom to participate the experiment, and they can be divided into three groups. Group 1 teaches the basic version of agent without prompts. Group 2 teaches the agent with step-by-step prompts leading to higher thinking. Group 3 teaches the agent with post-task prompts incorporated.

Hello once again everybody!

After cancelling out the dates where people are not in Singapore, we are left with:

nov 14,15,19,23 dec 1,2,3,4,5,6,31

so personally I feel it's more sensible to take December 2,3&4. It's sunday,monday and tuesday.

I WAS THINKING. We could have 2 nights. The first night being the BBQ and then we have a funfunfun sleepover, then we have a funfunfun time on the second day playing around downtowneast. (ohyes, sentosa is fully booked. i checked :( ) then the second night is for people who WANT to stay over. :D

alright. some people haven't replied to my request for information but i'm just going to make do with what i have because i can't possibly wait for everyone. x(

p.s : sorry people who wanted sentosa. and sorry people who wanted to stay away from downtowneast. unless you don't mind pasir ris (though i don't see the sense because it's so nearby and it's more expensive). I reckon I'll be going down with shanxi sometime this week to book the chalets. more details shall be given soon.

Shanxi, Natalie and Jody have a lot of free time on our hands (because obviously we're not the working type) and decided to help organize the class chalet!

We've decided to book a chalet at either Downtown East, Pasir Ris, or Sentosa. Costa Sands Resorts are the cheapest we could find. For one night, right? Or if you guys want more nights... then give us more money :)

the more important things that we need to know are what dates you guys are free. Could we just book a date and you guys clear that date? It would definitely be moremoremoremore convenient that way (sorry!) and would you people mind paying an entrance fee of maybe $5, so that we have enough money for the BBQ food youknow. Because we kind of only have $250 in our class fund.

1) when you WOULD NOT be in singapore.
2) whether you're okay with us just deciding the date and for you to clear the date for the chalet. (please say yes!)
