HELLO 105! <3

How's your 1st school week? Haha. Ohkay I haven't updated for a HECK OF A LONG TIME so I shall do so now. :D

1. Gym Assessment

Okay so we haven't learnt handstands & cartwheels yet. BUT THIS IS JUST TO MAKE YOU STRESSED HAHA. :D

The way I shall post it is WHAT SECTION > COMPONENT > {CRITERIA.} 4/3/2/1

Choreography > THEME AND MUSIC > {Theme selected and rhythm of song is appropriate to routine.} If you got a 4 (which is VERY GOOD) your music and theme are very appropriate. If you got a 3 (which is GOOD) your music and theme re quite appropriate but could have been better. If you got a 2 (which is AVERAGE) the music you chose if somewhat appropriate and synchronizes with the theme. If you got a 1 (which is LOUSY haha joking) the theme and music do not match at all.

Choreography > MOVEMENT CONCEPTS > { Pathways, direction, space - personal and spatial, speed - fast or slow, weight - heavy or light} If you got a 4 you have observed all movement concepts. If you got a 3 you have observed 3-4 movement concepts. If you got a 2 you have observed only 2-3 movement concepts. If you got a 1 you have observed a measly 1-2 movement concepts.

<-- Okay from here on the grading system changes. The higher your mark the more you observe or execute the component. -->

Skills > LEAPS AND JUMPS > { Movement is controlled, coordinated and synchrony with group. Weight transfer is evident. Execution is confident and body poised. Good form and in control. A minimum of 2 leaps / jumps is included in the routine. }

Skills > ROLLS > { @ least 3 rolls should be included, with @ least a forward roll. Movement is controlled, poised, neat, and clean. Evidence of skill mastery. When doing forward or egg roll, body is kept rounded throughout the roll, with knees and elbows tucked in close to body. Able to come out of the roll in a controlled manner and shows confidence. }

Skills > BALANCES > { Able to hold onto balance for @ least 3 sec. Balances can include tripod stand, candle stand, headstand, angled headstand, reverse handstand and/or handstand. Able to come out of balance in a controlled manner. }

Skills > AGILITIES (to be confirmed) > { During execution of cartwheel, transfer of weight from one spot to to another is evident. Correct movement order: hand, hand, foot, foot. Cartwheel is in a straight line. Hands and legs straight, controlled and strong. Body returns to standing position facing the direction of takeoff. Comes out of cartwheel in a controlled motion. }
